Hello! My name is Lizzie White and I am a certified teaching assistant and currently working towards my teacher certification. I grew up in Houston Texas and moved to Fort Collins almost two years ago to pursue a lifelong dream of living in Colorado.

My love for FUMC started when my daughter began her preschool journey last year and has grown into a passion for teaching. I have fallen in love with our play based approach and watching children learn and grow through play is such a magical thing to be a part of. I believe that the play based approach is vital to allow children to learn and grow not by academics or structure, but a natural progression of learning through play and experience.

I strongly believe in our co-op method and how it incorporates each family into our preschool to form a sense of community and belonging. This was the first community I found when I moved to Fort Collins and I cannot express what an important role it has played in my daughter's education as well as my career.

Outside of school I am a foodie who loves to cook, I love to hike and play with our three dogs.
